Charles McGee is an adept connector, social entrepreneur, and leader in organizational development. He grew up in Northeast Portland and graduated with honors from Portland State University. At just 19, he co-founded the Black Parent Initiative, successfully expanding its budget into the millions. As a service-oriented innovator, Charles utilizes his relationships and background as a social scientist to address contemporary challenges.
Born in Liberia and raised in Oregon, Charles is a dedicated father and currently serves as the Director of Operations at Workplace Change L.L.C. Based in Portland, this national human resources firm aims to foster culturally inclusive solutions for individuals and organizational cultures. In his role at Workplace Change, Charles concentrates on recruitment and delivering organizational support. Charles has served on countless boards and committees and has been honored by a host of community organizations. Charles is a father of two and resides in Northeast Portland, blocks away from the home he and his five siblings grew up in.

Kevin Salisbury is a dynamic leader with proven real estate, business operations, and community engagement track record.

As an Oregon native, University of Oregon graduate, and Portland resident for the past 15 years, Kevin has immersed himself in the city’s culture, earning a reputation as a trusted advisor who brings an unparalleled dedication to his clients, combining deep market knowledge with a commitment to building relationships and trust.

In addition to his success in real estate, Kevin has demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit by co-founding and operating a successful small business in Portland. Dominic Waters,
Co-Founder
Dominic is the president and founder of Crossover Construction, a minority-owned construction management/general contracting firm.
He established the company in 2021 after concluding his career as a professional basketball player in Europe. A graduate of Grant High School and holder of a communications degree from Portland State University, Dominic has strong connections in Portland is dedicated to fostering and attracting more opportunities for minorities in the construction sector.
He views each project as a chance to cultivate partnerships, enhance systems, and develop his team’s skills. His leadership abilities and past experiences empower him to lead effectively as an essential team member.
Crossover Construction has assembled a top-tier, diverse team that guarantees project completion within budget, scope, and timeline. He will act as an influencer among partners and the community, ensuring project success and timely completion.
Founded in the inner city of Portland, Crossover aims to create more opportunities for minorities in the construction field. Since its inception in 2021, Crossover has established a self-performing staff of concrete finishers and finished carpenters. As the company seeks growth while scaling back on self-performed work, it aims to enhance professional practices through its partnership with Build Portland LLC and refine systems for future city projects.
Crossover has completed a $3 million project, which involved the construction of four restaurants from the ground up. Additionally, it has partnered with Andersen Construction in a joint venture to manage and execute scopes for a $37 million, 124-unit apartment building named the ‘Wielder’ in the Pearl District. Crossover was also awarded a bid in partnership with Andersen Construction to oversee the $400 million Jefferson makeover, set to break ground in fall 2025. Crossover possesses the expertise to manage projects from start to finish, including self-performed scopes, to help keep costs low for clients.
